Select Settings-> Display-> Wallpaper-> Select the source for the wallpaper file, or,
select Gallery> Select one photo > select the icon at right and top corner > Set
Picture as> Wallpaper

Long press the shortcut of the app till a Remove icon shown at top of the
homescreen, drag and drop the app into the icon to remove.

Long press the app from the app drawer and drag it to the homescreen

Select Settings->Display->Uncheck "Auto-rotate screen".
