Software Installation for Windows
Users (USB and Parallel Port)
Note to USB users: You must complete the software installation before con-
necting the ImageMate to your computer. Before using your ImageMate, it may be
necessary to enable USB functionality on your computer. Since this procedure
varies by computer brand, please reference your computer's hardware documen-
tation or consult your dealer to verify how to install USB drivers on your computer.
Note to ALL users: It is strongly recommended that all other applications be
closed before continuing with the software installation.
1. Restart your computer and wait for your Windows desktop to appear.
a. Insert the Installation CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive.
b. If your CD-ROM drive is auto run enabled, a menu will appear prompting you to
select a language. Proceed to Step 2. If the menu does not automatically appear after
one minute, open My Computer, and open the CD-ROM icon. Proceed to Step 2.
2. Once you have selected a language, follow the on-screen prompts to install the
ImageMate software.
3. The Software License Agreement window will appear. Click Yes.
4. The Choose Destination Location window will appear. After confirming the location for the
ImageMate drivers (C:\SanDisk), click Next.
5. The Select Program Folder window will appear. Click Next.
6. The Start Copying Files window will appear. Confirm current settings and click Next.
