3.14 Standby Electricity Saving

20/25 Class Only
This function turns power supply OFF to the outdoor unit and sets the indoor unit into energy-
saving mode, thus reducing the power consumption of the air conditioner.
For 20 class models, field setting is required for turning ON the function.
Refer to "Standby Electricity Saving" on page 269 for detail.

Forced Cooling
1) The outdoor unit is not abnormal and
not in the 3-minute standby mode.
2) The outdoor unit is not operating.
The forced operation is allowed when
the above both conditions are met.
1) Press the forced operation ON/OFF
button (SW1) on the indoor unit for 5
seconds.
2) Press the forced operation ON/OFF
button (SW1) on the outdoor unit.
RXL20G2V1B: 68 Hz
RXL20G2V1B9: 58 Hz
RXL25G2V1B: 47 Hz
RXL35G2V1B: 66 Hz
1) The operation ends automatically
after 15 minutes.
2) Press the forced operation ON/OFF
button (SW1) on the indoor unit again.
3) Press the ON/OFF button on the
remote control.
4) Press the forced operation ON/OFF
button (SW1) on the outdoor unit.
The protection functions are prior to all
others in the forced operation.
