Installing the Power Cables

Connecting an AC Power Cable

• Do not connect the power cables when the power-supply device is powered on. Instead, switch off the power-supply
device to avoid injuries.
• To protect devices and personnel, use the matching power cables.
Connect the one end of the AC power cable
to the power port on the PSU of server.
Insert the other end of the AC power cable
into the AC power socket on the rack. The
AC power socket is horizontally secured on
the rear of the rack. Select the jacks on the
nearest socket for connection based on the
installation plan.
Bind the power cable to the cable trough
using cable ties.
