LUBRICATION
3. Place an sufficiently sized container,
approximately 5 quarts (4.7 liter), under the
hydraulic filter.
4. Turn the hydraulic filter counter clockwise.
Remove the filter and drain the oil.
NOTE: If necessary the filter guard may be
removed for easier access to the filter. Loosen,
but do not remove, two bolts holding the filter
guard. Slide the guard off of the bolts.
5. Apply a film of clean oil to the gasket of the
new filter.
6. Install the filter and turn it clockwise until
gasket makes contact with the mounting
surface. Tighten the filter with a 1/2 to 3/4 turn.
7. Fill the reservoir with of new oil until oil level
is about 5" (12.7 cm) from the top of the filler
pipe.
NOTE: Total system capacity is approximately
5 quarts ( 4.7 liters). Some oil will remain in the
wheel motors and lines. Approximately 3-1/2
quarts (3.3 liters) are required to refill to a safe
operating level.
8. Install filler cap on reservoir.
9. Start engine and run at the 3/4 throttle
position. Release the parking brake and cycle
the control levers forward and back several
times. Check for leaks.
10. Stop the engine. Check the reservoir oil fluid
level. Add oil if necessary.
Controls
Use a general-purpose petroleum-based spray
lubricant.
1. Steering control levers pivot shaft.
2. Throttle control cable.
3. Choke control cable.
4. Upper and lower parking brake linkages.
5. Upper and lower hydro pump control linkages
on the two sides.
