Baud rate issue during firmware downgrade. After downgrading the IMC firmware from 1.2 to
1.0, the TimeCreator cli's serial port baud rate changes to 57600, but the IMC bootcode's
baud rate will still remain unchanged (9600).
Workaround: Ignore any garbled messages during bootup.
24138: If RADIUS server or TACACS+ server is enabled, it becomes disabled after upgrade.
Workaround: If Radius Server or TACACS+ server was enabled before upgrade, it has to be
re-enabled after upgrade.
09127: A TOD source of NTP does not work when a whitelist is used.
Workaround: Add local host IP address (127.0.0.1) to whitelist.
25524: Setting TOD source alone to or from GPS with "set TOD source" command will not
result in correct GPS LED state. If this happens with NTP Server function enabled, the NTP
Server function will not work.
Workaround: Set TOD source to or from GPS, followed by "set interface state gps
{enable|disable}.

Updating the Firmware

Upgrading the IMC

To upgrade the software in the IMC, use the following procedure:
Note: Outputs are not affected during the IMC upgrade procedure.
1. Login at the Admin level.
2. Type
set configuration backup
configuration.
3. Type
upgrade imc <filename> <ftp-server> ftp auto-reboot
only) and press Enter. The auto-reboot option automatically reboots the unit after the
firmware is installed to activate it. Otherwise, the user must enter the command reboot IMC
when installation is complete.
Note: The system will FTP the file from the specified FTP server and then upgrade the
module.
4. When prompted, enter a user name and password for the server.
Note: If the file is not valid, the TimeCreator 1000 will reject it.
5. The TimeCreator 1000 validates the received file, and if the file is valid it updates the flash
memory and reboots the IMC.
