product.
If such discs are played,a <Wrong Region. Phase
check Disc.> message appears on the W screen.

CD-R Discs
• Some CD-Rdiscs maynot beplayable depending on
thediscrecording device(CD-Recorder or PC)andthe
condition of thedisc.
• Usea 650MB/74minuteCD-Rdisc.
Do notuseCD-Rdiscsover70OMB/80 minutes as
theymaynot beplayedback.
• SomeCD-RW (Rewritabb) media,maynot beplayable.
• OnlyCD-Rsthat areproperly "closed"can befully
played. I f thesession is closedbut thediscis leftopen,
youmay notbeableto fullyplaythedisc.
CD-R MP3 Discs
• MP3 file names should contain no blank spaces
or special characters (. / :::: + )
• Use discs recordedwith a compression/
decompression data rate greater than 128Kbps.
• Ifthediscis notclosed,itwilltakelonger to begin
playback andnotallof therecorded filesmaybeplayed.
• For fibs encoded in VariableBit Rate (VBR)
format, i.e. fibs encoded in both low bit rate and
high bit rate (e.g. 32Kbps - 320Kbps), the
sound may skip during playback.
• A maximum of 500 tracks can be played per CD.
• A maximum d 300 folders can be played per CD.
