Accessory Positions With Engine Off
NOTE:
The following functions are with the driver's foot OFF the Brake Pedal (transmission in PARK).
Beginning With The Ignition Switch In The OFF Position:
• Push the ENGINE START/STOP button once to change the ignition switch to the ACC
position.
• Push the ENGINE START/STOP button a second time to change the ignition switch to the
ON/RUN position.
• Push the ENGINE START/STOP button a third time to return the ignition switch to the OFF
position.
NOTE:
If the ignition switch is left in the ACC or
ON/RUN (engine not running) position and
the transmission is in PARK, the system will
automatically time out after 30 minutes of in-
activity, and the ignition will switch to the OFF
position.

TRUNK LOCK AND RELEASE

The decklid can be released from inside the vehicle by pushing the TRUNK RELEASE button
located on the instrument panel to the left of the steering wheel.
NOTE:
The transmission must be in PARK before the
button will operate.
The decklid can be released from outside the
vehicle by pushing the TRUNK button on the
Remote Keyless Entry key fob twice within five
seconds, or Passive Entry by hand.
With the ignition in the ON/RUN position, the
Trunk Open symbol will display indicating that
the trunk is open. The EVIC/DID display will
reappear once the trunk is closed. With the
ignition in the OFF position, the Trunk Open
symbol will display until the trunk is closed.
