Correcting the Thermometer
(Temperatures Offset)
r Press the [ F ] key, then press the CHANNEL se-
lector knob to activate the Menu ("SET") mode.
r Rotate the CHANNEL selector knob to select
Menu Item 14 "TEMP."
r Press the CHANNEL selector knob to enable ad-
justment of this Menu item.
r Rotate the CHANNEL selector knob to set the
difference (value: in °C) between the VXA-200
display and the calibrated thermometer. For ex-
ample, if the VXA-200 display shows "2 4 . 5 F "
and calibrated thermometer indicates "23.0 °C,"
set the Barometer offset to " – 0 0 5 ".
r Press the CHANNEL selector knob to save the
new setting, and then press the PTT key exit to
normal operation.
Once you have completed the above calibration, you
can confirm the current Barometric Pressure, Alti-
tude, or Density Altitude.

r Press [ F ] à [ 6 ( SENSR )] ; the display will show
current temperature.
r Rotate the CHANNEL knob to select the desired
display.
