To add a closed user group:
1. Highlight the Closed User Group option,
then press enter.
2. A group list appears. Select an Empty slot,
then select Add.
3. A text entry screen appears. Enter the
telephone numbers of group members.
You can also input text if desired.

Call Filter

The Settings > Call Settings > Call Filter
option enables you to set up call fi lters. Call
fi lters block the numbers or types of numbers
you specify from reaching your phone.
To block numbers, select Ignore List. Use the
left soft key
to select Accept Unknown
Call or Reject Unknown Call. You can enter
specifi c numbers to block by selecting and entry
line and pressing the Enter key.
To enter numbers that you do not want the
phone to block, select Privileged List.
Call fi lters can be turned on and off. Select
Filter Settings, then press the Enter key. To
turn fi lters off, select Off then press the Enter
key. To turn fi lters on, select Ignore List, then
press the Enter key. To turn fi lters on, you must
have previously set one or more numbers to
block in the Ignore List.

Network Settings

The default network settings in the phone are
for automatic detection of the best available
lines for the type of content you are sending.
Your phone also offers the fl exibility to let you
manually select various network options to suit
your preferences.
Network menu features include Network
Selection, Preferred Network, Band Selection,
and GPRS Connection.

Network Selection

To choose a network selection:
1. Highlight the Network Selection option,
then press the enter key.
2. There are two options: Automatic (default),
or Manual.
If you select Manual, a list of available
networks appears.
3. Highlight the desired network, then select
OK.
NOTE: There may be only one network listed, depending on
your geographic location. Higher fees may also result from
using a network other than that of your service provider.

Preferred Network

With the Network Settings > Preferred
Network option, you can set up a list of
preferred networks from a list of various service
providers, and then manually select your
preferred network.
