Hold the lower right (or left) corner of the rear cover and pull it towards you. In the same way, detach the other corner. Let go of the corners (detached) and hold the middle of the rear cover, and then remove it from the TV.

The first time you switch on the TV, the Language menu appears automatically on the Language Select language screen (Auto Startup).
