The tape cassette type
cannot be identified correctly.
actuator on the cassette sensor
Replace the main PCB ASSY.
Enter the inspection mode (see Section 3.2)
and do the following for the new main PCB
ASSY:
- Check solder points 1 to 3 and A to C
for destination (keypad version) and head
ranking in INFO submode, respectively.
- Regulate the motor speed in PRINT1
submode.
Does each sensor
PCB work normally?
Y
Are the
cassette sensor leads
soldered correctly?
Y
N
The cassette sensor PCB
is defective.
N
Correct them with
lead-free solder.
