    8 ” Z 1 C O R E D R I L L MACHINE COMPONENTS Ø The main components of the 8”Z1 are the spindle, gearbox, motor, carriage, drill stand and base. The spindle is driven by the transfer case and the motor. These components must be not be removed except by a qualified technician.

    8 ” Z 1 C O R E D R I L L TRANSPORTING THE MACHINE Ø When transporting the machine, always use two hands. Ø DO NOT transport the machine with bits in the spindle. Ø If transporting inside a vehicle, it is recommended to transport it on its side so as to avoid the item falling over.
