Troubleshooting Steps

Diagnosis 1. Establish fault message or diagnose behavior of system.
2. Look for corresponding cause of fault in the diagnostics table.

H for faults with fault display on control unit (see below).

3. Find corrective action in the table.

When a fault message is detected, – – – – FAULT– – – – flashes in the display of
the programming unit with the cover closed.
To trace the fault
1. Open cover:
→ FAULT SEARCH
Fault code is displayed.

2. Close the cover.
To reset the burner
If red light is on or flashing:
1. Press the "EU" button once to reset
the burner.

Open the cover:
Menu option
→ MAIN MENU
→ SYSTEM
→ INSTALLER SETUP
→ CODE PLEASE:
→ DIAGNOSIS
→ SCAN SENSORS
Select defective sensor with the menu
option CONTINUE "A".
Please note:
The fault message is cleared when
"ACKNOWLEDGE" is selected.
"A". If an acknowledged fault is not
corrected by 24:00 hrs on the same
day, the fault message will reappear.
The acoustic alarm system (only with
optional expansion board installed), is
not reactivated.

page 30.
