2. Open the fuel tank filler cap vent screw (manual venting fuel tanks).
3. Position the fuel line primer bulb so the arrow on the side of the bulb is
pointing up. Squeeze the fuel line primer bulb several times until it feels
firm.
4. Set the lanyard stop switch to the "RUN" position. Read the lanyard stop
switch safety explanation and warning in the General Information
section.
5. Shift the outboard to the neutral position.
