Do not see any mention in the instructions of what the image below is used for on my HHV135JO42 hand held vacuum. When I opened the vacuum this part was loose in the dirt bowl.

runs great for about 2 min then shuts off ,shut off button put it back on runs about 1 min shuts off etc
