5-2. HANDSET SECTION

• Set to handset test mode.
• Perform the adjustment at 5CH (RX : 903.5MHz, TX :
926.25MHz) by removing C115 as a rule.
1. RX LOOP VOLTAGE Adjustment
Procedure :
1. Connect the FM rf signal generator to ANTENNA point.
FM rf signal generator condition :
Carrier frequency
Modulation
Deviation
Output level
2. Connect the digital voltmeter to RX LOOP V (ATE terminal).
3. Adjust the C88 for 1.2V ± 0.2V reading on the digital voltmeter.
2. TX LOOP VOLTAGE Adjustment
Procedure :
1. Connect the digital voltmeter to TX LOOP V (ATE terminal).
2. Adjust the C49 for 1.2V ± 0.12V reading on the digital voltme-
ter.
3. 18.25MHz CLOCK REFERRENCE Adjustment
Procedure :
1. Connect the frequency counter to IC11 (^™ pin).
2. Adjust the C103 for 18.25MHz ± 750Hz reading on the frequency
counter.

4. QUAD-TUNE VOLTAGE Adjustment
Procedur e :
1. Connect the FM rf signal generator to ANTENNA point.

2. Connect the digital voltmeter to QUAD-TUNE (ATE terminal)
3. Adjust the C87 for 1.2V ± 0.75V reading on the digital voltme-
ter.
5. TX DEVIATION Adjustment
Procedur e :
1. Connect the modulation meter to ANTENNA point.
2. Adjust the R114 for DEVIATION = 17kHz ± 1.5kHz reading on
the modulation meter.
6. TX power and TX frequency Confirmation
Procedur e :
1. Connect the modulation meter to ANTENNA point.
2. Confirm the TX power is – 5dBm ± 2.5dB.
Confirm the TX frequency is 926.55MHz ±1kHz.
