If the Trigon Electronics Miniguard IID buzzer is not working, follow these troubleshooting steps:

1. Check Phone Line Voltage: Verify voltages across terminals—should be 48–52 VDC (on hook) and 6–12 VDC (off hook).

2. Check Phone Number Dialing: Make sure the tenant is pressing the correct number on their phone.

3. Wiring Issues: Ensure the strike or gate operator is wired correctly.

4. Power Supply: Confirm there is correct and sufficient power to the strike or gate operator.

5. Wire Size: If the system is current starved, increase the wire size.

6. Tone Duration: The tone may be too brief, especially with cordless phones.

7. Volume Adjustment: Check and adjust the volume setting on the PC board.

8. Handset Connections: Verify proper connections between the handset and the PCB.

9. Clean Contacts: Ensure all contacts and wires are clean and tightly connected.
