AREAS
The cooking areas on your range are identified
by
permanent
circles on the glass cooktop
surface. For the
most efficient
cooking, fit the pan size to the element
size.
Pans should not extend
more than
1/2 to 1-inch
beyond the cooking area.
When a control
is turned
on, a glow can be seen through
the glass cooktop
surface. The element
will cycle on and
off to maintain
the preset heat setting, even on Hi.

Hot surface indicator

Using
the
cookfop
elements
To turn on a SINGLE element
(left and right rear
elements}:
1. Push the single element
knob in.
2. Turn the knob in either direction to the setting you want.
The control
knob clicks when it is positioned
at both
OFF and HI.

• Hi is the highest temperature
available.
• Lo is the lowest temperature
available.
• NEVER leave food on the cooktop unattended. Spillovers
can cause smoke. Greasyspillovers may catch on fire.
•The oven surface element may appear to have cooled
after it has been turned OFEThe element may still be hot
and burns may occur if this element is touched before it
has cooled sufficiently.
