Entering Digits
In "123" input mode, you can directly press number keys
labeled with desired digits.
In the other input modes, press and hold the number key for
about 3s to enter the desired digit.
Entering Symbols
To enter symbols, you can do as follows:

Writing and Sending a Message

Select Menu > Messages > Create Message.

Edit the message.

Add recipient(s).

You can enter the phone number, or select the recipient from
the Contacts.

Creating a Contact

Select Menu > Contacts > Create.

Select Save on Phone or Save on SIM Card for saving the

contact.
Edit the contact.

to display the symbol list.
to scroll to the desired symbol.
to enter the symbol.
and then select Send.
to send the message.
(Save) to save the contact.
