Assigning DAW mode (Mackie Control/HUI)
or self define MIDI functions with iMap

There are two different methods for setting your Platform M+ according to your
need. In general, it would be much simpler and faster to set the device to pre-
mapped DAW mode with Mackie Control/HUI protocol depended on your using
DAW. The device has build-in different DAW Mackie/HUI protocol as below:

1. Nuendo (Mackie Control Protocol) – For Nuendo

2. Cubse (Mackie Control Protocol) – For Cubase

3. Logic (Mackie Control Protocol) – For Logic Pro X

4. Samplitude (Mackie Control Protocol) – For Samplitude Pro

5. Ableton Live (Mackie Control Protocol) – For Ableton Live

6. ProTools (HUI Control Protocol) – For Pro Tools

7. Reaper (Mackie Control Protocol) – For Reaper

8. Studio One (Mackie Control Protocol) – For Studio One

9. Reason (Mackie Control Protocol) – For Reason

10. Bitwig (Mackie Control Protocol) – For Bitwig

11. Sonar (Mackie Control Protocol) – For Sonar

12. Audition (Mackie Control Protocol) – For Audition

Or you could self define each control element on your Platform M+ with your own
MIDI messages that provided on the iMap's function pull-down menu. However,
unless you are fully understood the MIDI structure of your using DAW otherwise
this would be a real hassles task for the set up. Actually we strongly recommend
you to use the pre-mapped DAW mode as they are programmed according to a
lot of user preferences and it will most likely suit your need.
