Move the skin contact surface to another area
of skin. When there is full skin contact, the
READY light starts blinking slowly again.
Be careful not to treat the same area of skin
more than once per treatment session! Treating
the same area of skin more than once per
session increases the likelihood of adverse effects.

Repeat the process, starting at step 5.

Intensity level

The intensity level setting determines the intensity
of the light pulse delivered to your skin. There are
5 levels, from the lowest (1) to the highest (5).
Corresponding intensity lights show the intensity
selected. As the intensity level increases, so do the
hair removal results and the risk of possible side
effects and complications.
Always start using Philips Lumea Comfort at the
lowest intensity level.
If you experience little or no discomfort during
and after your first hair removal session at the
lowest intensity level, raise the intensity level by
1 intensity light at the next session. Do the same for
each subsequent session until you reach the highest
intensity that feels comfortable.
- DO NOT raise the intensity level if you
experience abnormal discomfort during
or after treatment with Philips Lumea
Comfort (see chapter 'Risks of using
Philips Lumea Comfort').
- DO NOT raise the intensity level during
a hair removal session even if you
experience no discomfort. Discomfort may
also appear some time after the session.
