Adjusting Volume You may adjust call volume through the knob. Rotate the knob clockwise to increase the volume, or counter-clockwise to decrease the volume.

If CTCSS/CDCSS is set on a certain channel, you can only receive voice calls from radios with matching CTCSS/CDCSS. Otherwise you will receive voice calls from all users operating at the same frequency.
