DESTINATION
■ Setting a Destination by Places
You can select from approximately 2 Million Point-of-Interest locations stored inside
your Blackbird Portable Navigation System. These destinations are sorted by Place
Name or by Place Type and are listed in order of distance to your current location.

Go to
Main Menu

Places
Finding a Destination by Place Name

Select
By Place
Name.

Type the desired place name.
Touch OK.
A place list with place names appears.
Note:
Touch a place name to view address and telephone
number (information may or may not be available).

Select the place with correct address.
For emergency locations such as Police Stations,
Hospitals, etc., please verify availability before proceed-
ing to such locations.
Confirmation screen appears.

OK to Proceed
to set a destination and
display map.

Address Book

Select the desired destination.

Confirmation screen appears.
Touch
OK to Proceed
receiving turn-by-turn navigation instructions.

By Place
Type.
Select a desired POI Category.

Place type has 50 categories including ATMS,
Banks, Gas Stations, Grocery Stores, Hotels,
Parking Lots, Restaurants and more.

Select Search Method.
Sort by Distance

The list of place names appears in
order of distance from the current
vehicle position.

OK to Proceed
Select the place.
Sort by Name

Follow 3 to 5 in "Finding a Destination by Place Name" on Page 16.
Within a City

Type the city name.

The list of Places appears in order of
the distance from the selected city.
Select the desired place.
