IMPORTANT: Turn ignition key to the off
position when unit is not in use. Some meters
may count hours when the key is in the on
position, even if the engine is off. This results
in inaccurate maintenance intervals.
Service Alerts: Counts down hours until
service is needed and displays "Now" when
service id due. Service time is measured for:
• Engine oil and filter changes (CHG OIL)
• Hydraulic oil and filter changes (CHG H
OIL)
• Air filter service (SVC AIRFILTER)
The service intervals preset into the hour
meter are:
• Hydraulic oil and filter: First 75 hours and
every 400 hours thereafter
• Engine oil and filter: First 25 hours and
every 100 hours thereafter
• Air filter: Every 100 hours
NOTICE: The preset engine oil services
intervals are normal recommended intervals.
Specific engine manufacturer's
recommendations may vary.
To clear a service message, press the Mode
button to select Service Alert mode and then
hold the Mode button for 3 seconds.

Deck Lift Pedal (Item 15) and Mower
Lift Lever (Item 16)
Pedal or lever raises and lowers mower deck
for transport or mowing.
Transport Lock Knob (Item 17)
(Figure 6)
When in the lock position, the transport lock
knob allows the deck to automatically lock in
the highest (4.00" or 5.00") HOC position.

NOTICE: When the transport lock knob is in
the lock position (in) the deck will
automatically lock at transport height when
the pedal is pushed fully down or mower lift
lever is pulled fully to the rear.
To raise deck into transport position:
1. Push pedal fully down or pull mower lift
lever fully to the rear.
2. Release pedal or lever.
To lower deck into mowing position:
1. Push pedal or pull mower lift lever to
release pressure on transport lock knob.
2. Pull up on transport lock knob.
3. Release pedal or mower lift lever.
To disable this feature:
1. Move transport lock knob up to the Off
position.

Height-of-Cut (HOC) Index Wheel

Set cutting height or transport position.
1. Push down on pedal (Item 15) or pull
back on mower lift lever (Item 16) to
release pressure from HOC index wheel
(Item 18).
IMPORTANT: Be sure to release pressure on
deck before moving HOC index wheel.
2. If locked, move transport lock knob (Item
17) to unlocked position.
3. Rotate HOC index wheel to the desired
cut height setting.
The indicator displays two HOC positions to
reflect deck height options (see Adjust Deck
Height on page 32):
• Low position: 38 – 102 mm (1.5 – 4")
• High position: 64 – 127 mm (2.5 – 5")
4. Release pedal or mower lift lever.
