Note: If making a call with telephone handset, make sure the headset is placed in base unit cradle.
Otherwise, the call will be routed through to the headset.
Note: If the headset is absent, change Headset switch on bottom of base unit to telephone handset.

5.1 Put on headset.
5.2 Lift handset from telephone.
5.3 Wait for dial tone, then dial

5.4 To end call, replace handset
on telephone.

5.5 Place headset in base cradle.
5.6 Use headset as usual.
6. Answering a call

6.2 Lift handset from telephone,
or press telephone's "headset"
button if connected to the headset
port.
6.3 To end call, replace handset
on telephone, or press telephone's
"end call" button if base is
connected directly to telephone's
headset port.
Muting & unmuting
6.4 Press Mute button on headset.
Visual indicator on base unit will
turn red and a tone will be heard
in the headset.
6.5 To un mute, press Mute button
again. Visual indicator will turn off
and a tone will be heard in the
headset.
