Standard Connections (Pages 8 to 11)
Make correct connection between the unit's jacks and
speaker's jacks (+ to + and – to –) for each channel. If
connection is wrong, reverse phase may make bass output
poor. Up to two powered subwoofers can be connected.
The same signal is output from each of the SUBWOOFER
PRE OUT jacks.
Setup
0 Settings for the speaker configuration you have
connected need to be made in "1. Full Auto
MCACC" in Initial Setup (P21).
0 If any of the connected speakers have an
impedance of 4 Ω or more to less than 6 Ω, after
completing Initial Setup, you need to make some
settings in the System Setup menu. Press
the remote controller, and in the Home displayed
set "System Setup" - "Speaker" - "Configuration" -
"Speaker Impedance" to "4ohms".
Make sure the exposed wires of the speakers
do not stick out of the speaker terminals when
connecting. If the exposed wires of the
speakers touch the rear panel or the + and –
wires touch each other, the protection circuit
will be activated.
