The word LEARN is coming up. What does it mean and what action do I take

The LEARN message on the Ness Guardpost indicates that the system is in learning mode, waiting to receive a signal from a new radio key or device. If no radio keys are programmed, pressing the PANIC button for 8 seconds starts the learning process.

When the system displays LEARN, follow these steps:
1. If a radio key is already programmed, press the ON button on a valid radio key to enter Ready to Learn mode.
2. The Guardpost will wait 10 seconds for a new radio key or device signal.
3. Send the Learn Signal from the new device.
4. If successful, the unit will beep and display the assigned slot number.

At least one radio key must be active before further programming can continue.
