unless otherwise specified. This manual provides sufficient information to enable qualified service
shop technicians to troubleshoot and repair an ASTRO XTS 5000 digital portable radio to the
component level.
For details on the operation of the radio or level 1 or 2 maintenance procedures, refer to the
applicable manuals, which are available separately. A list of publications is provided in this manual in
the section,

Manual Revisions
Changes which occur after this manual is printed are described in FMRs (Florida Manual Revisions).
