Select a shooting mode other than the ['.'._"Fireworks] Special Scene
mode in mode.
1 Activate tele macro.
* Touchagain to turn offthe tele macro function.
The camcorder will automatically adjust the zoom to the telephoto
end.
2 Touch [START].
Touch [STOP] to pause the recording.
3 Touch [X].

Any of the following actions will deactivate the tele macro function.
- Turning off the camcorder.
- Pressing [_.
- Zooming out toward &N (wide angle).
- Setting the shooting mode to _ mode, mode or the
[._' Fireworks] Special Scene mode in mode.
Tele macro cannot be turned on/off while recording.
Audio Scenes
You can have the camcorder optimize the audio settings of the built-in
microphone by selecting the audio scene that matches your surround-
ings. This will greatly enhance the sense of "being there."
