4c. If there are 10 or more members in the list,
the display shows "ID LOC#X_" (where X is
the first digit). The cursor blinks to show the
location of the second digit.
4d. Enter the second digit of the location number.
4e. The radio goes to that
position in the list. The
display alternates
between showing the
member's name and ID
number.
Note:
If you enter a location number that does not exist
(for example, "15"), the display will show "INVALID
ENTRY," and the radio will sound an invalid-key-
press tone and return back to step 4b of this proce-
dure.

ID transmitted or received" at position "00"
on the list.

Sending the Call Alert

Press the PTT button to transmit the ID num-

If the page is unsuccessful
6a. If you hear one beep, the ID number has
been received by the system, but the radio
you are paging is not on the air; your radio
remains in the Call Alert mode.

If after six seconds the called radio fails to
acknowledge the alert, a low-pitched alert
tone sounds and the display changes to "NO
ACKNOWLEDGE".
6b. Press the PTT button to send the ID number
again, or press . to hang up and return to
the home display.
If the page is successful
6a. If you hear five beeps, the ID number has
been received by the system, and the radio
you are paging is on the air and has received
your page.
6b. The radio automatically
returns to the home dis-
play
