3.3 USAGE OF USB
The mobile phone supports a USB1.0 port. You can connect the phone to the computer
using a USB cable to copy/move data and perform other operations. Likewise, you can
view/listen to photos, sound recordings, videos, etc. stored on the phone on the computer.
Using the USB cable: Connect the USB cable to the USB port of the PC on one side and
the other side to the „USB/Charge port" on the left side of the phone.
3.4 USING THE SECURITY PASSWORD
Your mobile phone and sim card have various passwords. These passwords can help you
prevent unauthorized use of your mobile phone and your sim cards. If you are prompted
for passwords that are explained below, enter the appropriate passwords and press the OK
key. If an error message appears, press „Delete" to correct the incorrect input and then
enter the correct number. Use the „Settings -> Security settings -> Change password"
menu to change PIN code, PIN2 code and telephone password.
PHONE PASSWORD
The phone password protects the phone from unauthorized use. The phone password is
usually supplied by the manufacturer along with the phone. The manufacturer's default
phone password is „1122". If the mobile phone is locked, you must enter the telephone
password to start it up.
PIN CODE
The PIN code (personal identification code, 4-8 digits) protects your sim card from
unauthorized use. The PIN is attached to the sim card. When activating the PIN check
function, you are prompted to enter the PIN after every startup. If you have entered an
incorrect PIN three times in a row, the sim card will be blocked. To unblock it, proceed as
follows:
» According to the screen display, enter the correct PUK code, to unlock the sim card.
» Enter the new PIN code and press the" OK „button.
» You are prompted to re-enter the new PIN code; enter the new PIN code again and
press the "OK" button.
» If the PUK code is correct, the sim card is unlocked and the PIN code changed.
Note:
If you have entered the incorrect PIN three times, the sim card is locked. To unlock, you
should use the PUK code. The PUK code is usually found in the documentation of your
network operator.

PUK CODE
Enter the PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code to unlock the PIN code. The PUK code was
supplied by the manufacturer with the sim card. If you no longer have the code, please
contact your network operator. If you have entered an incorrect PUK ten times in a row, the
sim card becomes invalid. Please contact your network operator for a new card.
PIN 2 CODE
The PIN2 code (4-8 digits) is supplied with the sim card. To enter „Call costs" and „Call
restriction", please contact your network operator to make sure your sim card supports
these features. If an incorrect PIN was entered three times in succession, the PIN2 code is
automatically blocked. You must enter the correct PUK2 code to unlock the PIN2 code. To
unlock, proceed as follows:
» According to the screen display, enter the correct PUK2 code, to unlock it.
» Enter the new PIN2 code and press the" OK „button.
» You are prompted to re-enter the new PIN2 code; enter the new PIN2 code again and
press the „OK" button.
PUK2 CODE
The PUK2 code (PIN2 unlock code, 8 digits) is used to unlock the locked PIN2 code. The
PUK2 code was supplied by the manufacturer with the sim card. If you have entered an
incorrect PUK2 ten times in succession, the sim card becomes invalid. Please contact your
network operator for a new card.
LOCK PASSWORD
You need this lock password when you set up a caller lock. If you want to enable this
feature, you can obtain the password from your network operator.
3.5 CREATE A NETWORK CONNECTION
After successfully unlocking the sim card and your mobile phone, the mobile phone
automatically searches for an available network. After the network search is completed,
the phone enters standby mode. You can make and receive calls. You can also perform the
following functions:
» Press the left key to go to the main menu.
» Press the right key to enter the address book.
» Press the dial key to display the call list.
