4. BASIC FUNCTIONS
4.1 CALLING
In standby mode, use the number keys to enter the area code and telephone number, tap
the connection icon, or press the connection key to make a call. Press the „End" key to
end the call.
» Calling abroad: press the" * „key twice and then enter the „+" sign. Enter the country
code, the area code and the phone number, and then press the connection key.
» Call the extension: Enter the extension number and then press the „ * „button three
or four times; then "P" or „w" appears; enter „p" or „w" followed by the extension
number, then press the connection key.
» Correct input error: Press the right function key to delete the last character on the
screen. To delete the entire entry, press and hold the right function key, or press the
„End" key.
» Call contact from the address book: While in standby mode press the right soft key
to open the address book and enter the caller data, and then use the navigation buttons
to search up or down to find the corresponding entry to call.
» Enter the number and press the connection key; the mobile phone automatically
dials the corresponding number.
» Redial: Press the connection key in idle mode to display the last dialed numbers. On
the display the last dialed number appears. Move the navigation key to the desired
number, then press the connection key.
» Calls using the speed dial key: To dial a number in the speed dial list, open the
address book, go to the menu point „Address book settings", to the submenu „Speed
dial list", and make sure that the function is activated via the „ON" setting.
4.2 ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
During a call, press the navigation buttons up or down to adjust the volume.
4.3 ANSWERING AN INCOMING CALL
» To answer a call, press the connection key or the left function key. When the phone
vibrates, it means that the call has been accepted.
» To end the call, press the" End „key.
» To reject a call, press the" End „key or the right function key.
REMARK:
If the phone can recognize the incoming call, the corresponding number is displayed (if
the caller is stored, the number and the corresponding name are displayed). If the phone
does not recognize the call, the number is not displayed. You can also accept the call
from the menu or address book

4.4 CALL PROCEDURE
During a call, you can make calls from the menu, end individual calls, access the address
book, call logs, messages, voice recording, mute mode, and other features. See the next
chapter „Menu functions".
» Hold calls: accept the new call, and put it on hold. If have two incoming calls, the two
parties can't hear each other.
If your network operator supports the „hold call" function, you can connect another time
during a call.
A:

Enter the number directly, or press the left key to select the
number from the address book; or press the left key to select a
new call and enter the number; then press the connection key to
make the new, second call.

The current call is held automatically.
B:

Use the left key to select silent mode to hold the current call.

Then select the other number. When the connection is
established, you can toggle between the calls using the Shift
key.
» End individual call: end the current call.
» Address book: during the call the telephone book is displayed.
» Call list: during the call the connection data are displayed.
» Messages: view or send messages during the call.
» Sound recording: Sound recording during the call.
» Mute mode: This function can mute the microphone of the mobile phone and connect
the other microphone. With the function „mute mode" you can make sure that the other
party can't hear you.
