3. SETTING UP YOUR PHONE
Note:
If the message „Only emergency call possible" appears, you can only make emergency
calls.

3.6 CHARGING THE BATTERY

» The battery indicator: Your phone can monitor the battery and display information about
it.
» Normally you can see the charge level of the battery in the icon in the upper right corner
of the screen.
» When the battery is low," Battery low „appears on the display. If you select a beep in a
mode, an alarm tone can still be heard.
» When the battery is charged, the display shows an animated charging icon. When the
battery is fully charged, the animation stops.
REMARK:
The actual standby time and call time are affected by the use of the mobile phone, the
local network environment, the sim card, and the settings made.
» Travel charger: travel chargers can recharge the battery via the telephone. When you
charge the battery, place it close to the phone:
1. Insert the travel charger into the corresponding port on top of the
telephone.
2. Insert the travel charger into the correct main socket.
» During recharging, the recharge rate of the battery symbol is displayed until the battery
is fully charged.
» When the battery is fully charged, the battery icon does not change anymore.
REMARK:
If the electrical voltage of the battery is so low that start-up is not possible, it takes a long
time for the battery icon to change.
WARNING: You must ensure that the local main voltage and the clock frequency are
compatible with the voltage of the charger and its rated power.

4. BASIC FUNCTIONS

3.7 SWITCHING THE TELEPHONE ON / OFF

» Press and hold the OFF key will cause the phone to start up. The startup animation will
be displayed.
» When prompted to enter the phone password, enter the password and press the „OK"
function key. The phone password is preset to1122.
» If you are prompted to enter the PIN code, enter the PIN code and press the „OK"
function key. The sim card and the PIN code for a new account are made available by
the network operator.
» When the standby screen appears, your mobile phone will search for a network. If a
network has been found, the current date and current time is shown on the display. Now
you can make and receive calls.
» Press and hold the power key to turn off the phone.

3.8 HEADSET

When you insert the headset into the intended headset opening, the phone automatically
switches to headset mode. The headset serves as earpiece and microphone.
