5 CONFIGURING THE DECODER
5.1

Front Panel Status Indicator LEDs

Three LEDs are provided
Unit Status
Amber – Unit is in the boot up sequence
Green - No internal unit fault
Red - Internal unit fault
Transport Stream
Green – A valid ASI signal is present on the input
Red - No valid ASI signal on the input
Genlock
Amber – Genlock is disabled
Green - Genlock is enabled and working
Red – Genlock is enabled but not locked (Genlock reference is not connected)
5.2

Initialization Screen

At power-up, the initialization screen is displayed. If any errors are found during the initialization of the
major functions, an error message will be displayed. During initialization, the Status LED will show
GREEN.
5.3

Current Status

Press the "Status" button. Three screens show the current operational status of the decoder.

5.3.1 Current Status (1 of 3).

The following configurations are displayed
Video output format (automatically selected depending on input format) – see note*
Video input format (the format detected in the input ASI signal)
Delay mode, auto detected - Standard or Ultra Low Delay
ASI output packet format – 188 / 204 / byte modes
Analog video output, set to either CVBS or Y/C
