Introduction - RF Central RFX-HD-D Operator's Manual

The RFX-HD-D is a stand alone ASI decoder for SD / HD MPEG2 digital video. The unit accepts ASI
DVB transport stream at the input, decodes the signal according to MPEG2 profiles, and outputs 1
video plus the associated audios. Output formats include:-

HD SDI video

SD SDI video
•
SD analog video CVBS (PAL or NTSC)
•
SD analog video component Y/C
•
Digital audio
o SDI embedded
o 2 x stereo Digital audio AES / EBU
•
4 x analog audios
The HD-D occupies 1 U rack mount and powers from 110 / 230 VAC.
The unit is compatible with RF Central digital receivers when operated in the ASI mode. The HD-D, for
example, may be used as an add-on box to decode HD wireless camera transmitters using an SD
capable digital receiver.
