Nota The width of the cuff should be either 40% of the limb circumference (50% for neonates) or 2/3 of the upper arm length. The inflatable part of the cuff should be long enough to encircle 50-80% of the limb. The wrong size of cuff can cause erroneous readings.
5.3 operation Hints 1. To start auto measuring: Access ABPM SETUP menu and pick the “Asleep Interval” item and “Awake Interval” item, in which the user may select the time interval value for auto measurement. After that, enter “ABPM” menu and select the entrance, enter into ABPM working environment, and the system is automatically inflated measurement in accordance with the setting time interval.
