[Audio Sync]
Sets the default delay time for audio output
when you play a video disc.
1) To start, press OK.
2) Select a speaker delay in the menu, then

to set the delay time.
3) Press OK
[Speaker Setup]
Optimizes surround output for the connected
speakers system.

[Speakers Volume] – Sets the volume level
of each speaker to get the ideal audio
balance.
[Speakers Delay] - Sets the delay time for

the subwoofer to obtain an equal audio
transmission from all the speakers.

[Sound Mode]
Selects a preset sound effect to enhance the
audio output.
[MAX ON], [JAZZ], [ROCK], [TECHNO],

[POP]
[Treble/Bass]
Sets the high frequency (treble) and low
frequency (bass) settings of the unit.
[Night Mode]
Makes loud sound level softer and soft sound
level louder so that you can watch the DVD
movies at a low volume, without disturbing
others.

[On] – Enjoys quiet viewing at night.
[Off] – Enjoys surround sound with a full
•
dynamic range.
Note
•
This feature is applicable only to Dolby Digital encoded
discs.
Preferences
On the [Preference] (Preference) page, you can
set the following options:
[Audio]
Selects the default audio language for disc play.
[Subtitle]
Selects the default subtitle language for disc play.
[Disc Menu]
to
Selects the language for disc menu.
Note
•
If the language you have set is not available on the disc,
the disc uses its own default language.
•
For some discs, the subtitle/audio language can only be
changed from the disc menu.
•
To select the languages that are not listed in the menu,
select [Others]. Then check the Language Code list at
the back of this user manual and enter the respective
4-digit language code.
[Parental Control]
Restricts access to discs that are unsuitable for
children. These types of discs must be recorded
with ratings.
