Node Information Area Each ET-7000/PET-7000 module has a built-in EEPROM to store configuration information such as IP address, type code, etc. One minor drawback is that there are no visual indications of the configuration of the module. New ET-7000/PET-7000 modules include node information areas that are protected by a cover, as shown below, and can be used to make a written record of the node information, such as IP address, etc.
