Liberty 50 Catalyzed
- Upon refitting, apply the recommended grease to
the bushing, to the spring and along the toothed
sector.
- Use the special tool for the charging of the spring,
as shown in the figure.
- Refit the seeger ring after checking that it is in
good condition.

Removing the driven pulley shaft bearing

- Slightly heat the crankshaft from the inside side
to avoid damaging the coated surface and use the
driven pulley shaft or a pin of the same diameter
to remove the bearing.
N.B.
IN CASE OF DIFFICULTY A STANDARD 8MM-INSIDE DI-
AMETER EXTRACTOR CAN BE USED.
Refitting the driven pulley shaft bearing
-Refit the bearing with the aid of a bushing with the same diameter as the external plate of the bearing
after slightly heating the crankcase from the inside.
N.B.
WHEN REFITTING, ALWAYS REPLACE THE BEARING WITH A NEW ONE.
CAUTION
WHEN REMOVING/REFITTING THE BEARING, TAKE CARE NOT TO DAMAGE THE PAINTED
SURFACE.
