Before you begin

Before using this product to test a patient's blood glucose, carefully read this Meter Operator's Guide, and
the inserts that come with the OneTouch® Verio™ Test Strips and OneTouch® Verio™ Control Solutions and
OneTouch Verio™Pro+ Linearity Solutions.

Intended use

The OneTouch® Verio™Pro+ Blood Glucose Monitoring System is intended to be used for the quantitative
measurement of glucose (sugar) in fresh capillary whole blood samples drawn from the fingertips.
Arterial and venous whole blood samples may be used as well.
The OneTouch® Verio™Pro+ Blood Glucose Monitoring System is intended for testing outside the body
(in vitro diagnostic use) by health care professionals as an aid to monitor the effectiveness of blood
glucose management.
The OneTouch® Verio™Pro+ Blood Glucose Monitoring System should not be used for the diagnosis of or
screening of diabetes. The OneTouch® Verio™Pro+ Blood Glucose Monitoring System is not intended to be
used for testing blood glucose of neonates.
