3 Installation and Connections Note: All the installation and operations here should conform to your local electric safety rules. 3.1 Check Unpacked NVR When you receive the NVR from the forwarding agent, please check whether there is any visible damage. The protective materials used for the package of the NVR can protect most accidental clashes during transportation.

4 Operation 4.1 Boot up& Shutdown Refer to the following sheet for commonly used button definition. Button Function Click to restore default setup. Click to save current setup. After system booted up, you can see the following interface if it is your first login or you have restored default setup. See Figure 4-1. Please input old password and then input new password twice to confirm the change. The default administrator user name is admin and the password is admin.
