3.6.1 Prerequisites
Before proceeding with the CLI steps described below, connect a
configuration computer to the WS5100, as described in "Adding the WS5100
to the Network". It is not necessary to deploy the switch into the network to
perform this initial configuration.
3.6.2 Logging Into the CLI
1. Connect the WS5100 through the serial port and power on the switch. The
terminal emulation window displays a series of diagnostic messages that you
can ignore). Then it displays the WS5100 user name prompt as shown here.
Enter the name cli (all lowercase) and hit "enter" or "return" to continue:

The CLI Login prompt is displayed as shown below. Enter admin (lowercase)
as the user. Enter symbol (lowercase) for the password symbol. Make sure to
hit "enter" or "return" each time after entering both userid and password
