Using Your Onyx EZR
3. Press the Select button . The scan will begin .
4. Press the Select button to stop the scan and to continue to listen to the channel currently being
played, or press
the scan .

Automatically Tuning Channels in Categories

Onyx EZR can be configured to automatically tune channels when browsing a category list, when
you highlight a channel in the list and pause for a few seconds . This feature can be turned off so that
channels are not tuned automatically if desired .
To turn channel browsing auto select on/off:
1. Press Menu .
2. Press to scroll to and highlight Feature Settings . Press the Select button .
3. Press to scroll to and highlight Channel Browsing Auto Select . Pressing the Select button will
toggle between On and Off .
4. Press and hold Menu to return to the main display screen .

Returning to the Main Display Screen

Pressing and holding Menu in most instances will return you to the main display screen . In some
instances, you may need to follow the instructions on the display screen .

Jump and Traffic/Weather

Depending upon how you configure the mode, pressing Jump will either go to the previous channel
to which you were listening, or go to the traffic and weather channel for the city of your choice,
which you select from a list of cities .
Pressing and holding Jump toggles the display screen between black background with white text and
white background with black text .
If Jump is set to Last Channel, pressing Jump will immediately tune to the previous channel to which
you were listening .
If Jump is set to Traffic/Weather, when you press Jump the channel with
the traffic and weather for the city you selected will be tuned . If the traffic/
weather broadcast of your selected city is not immediately available, a
message will be displayed at the bottom of the screen to indicate that a
jump is pending . Once the traffic/weather report is ready to be broadcast,
