HDD/SSD SMART Information

This menu displays the SMART information of the connected devices.
NVM Express devices do not support SMART information.
3.6.8

USB Configuration

The items in this menu allow you to change the USB-related features.
Legacy USB Support [Enabled]
[Enabled]
Enables the support for USB devices on legacy operating systems (OS).
[Disabled]
The USB devices can be used only for the BIOS setup program.
[Auto]
Allows the system to detect the presence of USB devices at startup. If
detected, the USB controller legacy mode is enabled. If no USB device is
detected, the legacy USB support is disabled.
XHCI Hand-off [Disabled]
[Enabled]
Enables the support for operating systems without an XHCI hand-off
feature.
[Disabled]
Disables the function.
USB Device Enable [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable all USB ports. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled]
The Mass Storage Devices item shows the auto-detected values. If no USB device is
detected, the item shows None.
USB Single Port Control
Allows you to enable/disable individual USB ports.
USB3_1/2/3/4/5/9/10/C7 [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable an individual USB 3.0 port. Refer to the section
1.1.2 Motherboard layout in this user manual for the locations of the USB ports.
Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled].
USB3.1_C1 [Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable an individual USB 3.1 port. Refer to the section
1.1.2 Motherboard layout in this user manual for the locations of the USB ports.
Configuration options: [Enabled] [Disabled].
USB1~4[Enabled]
Allows you to enable or disable an individual USB port. Refer to the section 1.1.2
Motherboard layout in this user manual for the locations of the USB ports.

The items in this menu display the CPU-related information that the BIOS automatically
detects.
This item appears only when you install an AMD Ryzen
ASUS PRIME X370-PRO
processor.
