The safe use of this product requires an understanding of the information on the product and in this operator’s manual as well as a knowledge of the project you are attempting.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION BATTERY IMPORTANT! The battery pack is not charged when it is purchased. Before using the hedger for to read all safety precautions, and follow the instructions in the Battery Charger section. With regular use, it will need shorter charging time. If storing for a prolonged period of time, remove the battery.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION W A R N I N G Replace the battery pack or charger immediately if the battery case or charger cord is damaged. Always make sure the hedge trimmer switch is OFF before inserting or removing the battery pack.
OPERATION (See Figure 4.) ON/OFF SWITCHES The hedge trimmer has two switch controls and a lock-OFF button used together to prevent ac- cidental start-ups or injury. 1. Place one hand on the trigger handle (1). Place the other hand on the Auxiliary handle (2). 2.
BATTERY CHARGER CHARGING PROCEDURE ( See Figure 5. NOTE: The battery is not shipped fully charged. It is recommended to fully charge before first use to ensure that maximum run time can be achieved. This lithium-ion battery will not develop a memory and may be charged at any time.

BATTERY CHARGER W A R N I N G If the battery is inserted into the charger when warm or hot, the CHARGING LED indicator light on the charger may switch on and illuminate ORANGE. If this occurs allow the battery to cool outside of the charger from approximately 30 minutes.
MAINTANCE W A R N I N G before adjusting, inspecting, or cleaning the hedge trimmer. Cleaning Remove the battery pack. 1. Wipe the outside of the hedge trimmer with a dry, soft cloth. Do not hose down or wash with water.
