Before using the hedger for the first time, place the battery pack on the battery charger and charge. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ON/Off SW ITCHES (See Figure 3.) The hedge trimmer has an electronic control panel with on/off button and an anti-jam function. It also has a lock-out button and switch trigger. 1. Push the power button (I/O) to turn the unit on. 2. - Page 14 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS (See Figure 4.) USING THE ROTATING REAR HANDLE 1. Before disposing of damaged or worn out Lithium-Ion battery packs, contact your local waste disposal agency, or the local Environmental Protection Agency for information and specific instructions. Take the batteries to a local recycling and/or disposal centre, certified for lithium-ion disposal. -
