Remove Password Utilities

This section provides details about removing HDD/BIOS passwords.
Remove Insyde HDD Password
Remove Insyde HDD Password in WinPE or DOS mode as follows:

If the HDD password is incorrectly entered three times, an error is generated.

To remove the HDD password, perform the following:
1. Connect the USB storage device with WinPE or DOS unlock HDD password tool to the
machine.
2. Turn on the machine and press F2.
A Harddisk Security message appears on screen as shown.

3. From Password Error Status dialog shown in Figure 2-22, press Enter to continue.
4. The Enter Unlock Password dialog Figure 2-23 is shown.
