Your machine contains valuable materials which can be recovered or recycled. The
SOURCE™ contains a 3V lithium 2/3A size battery (CR123A). The crossed out wheel bin
symbol shown above means that this product contains a battery and is electrical or
classified as electronic equipment. The waste battery and the machine should not be
discarded along with other household or commercial waste at the end of their use, but
must be collected separately. Batteries contain substances that may be hazardous and
present a risk to human health and the environment when they are not handled correctly
as waste.
If the battery powering the LED lights needs to be replaced, please contact SodaStream
Customer Service for details on how to arrange for it to be replaced. Please do not
remove the battery from the SOURCE™ by yourself, as this should only be done by a
professional.
This machine is labeled in accordance with European Directive on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE) (Recast) (2008/0241 (COD), adopted 19 July 2011, and
2002/96/EC) and the Batteries Directive (2006/66/EC). The WEEE Directive has been put
in place to recycle products using best available recovery and recycling techniques to
minimise the impact on the environment, treat any hazardous substances and avoid
increasing landfill. For more information on proper disposal of this product through a
take-back program, please contact SodaStream customer service at
www.sodastream.com and choosing 'Select your country'.

EXCHANGING YOUR CYLINDER

The SodaStream CO cylinder is provided to you under licence. The licence allows you to

exchange your empty cylinder for a full one for the price of the gas content only, at a
participating SodaStream authorised retailer.
Follow instructions to replace the cylinder in the 'Installing the CO cylinder' section.
