Problem
(U)SIM card error
Unable to connect
to the network.
You cannot answer
incoming calls.
You cannot make
outgoing calls.
PIN code is
blocked.
Unable to enter
information into the
phone book.
Possible causes
(U)SIM card malfunction or damage.
(U)SIM card inserted improperly.
Debris on the (U)SIM card contacts.
(U)SIM card invalid.
You are not within the network's service area.
Poor signal.
You have activated the Call Barring feature.
You have activated the Call Barring feature.
You have activated the Fixed Dial Number
feature.
You have entered an incorrect PIN code three
consecutive times.
The phone book's memory is already full.

Possible solution
Take the (U)SIM card to your service
provider for testing.
Insert the (U)SIM card properly.
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the (U)SIM card
contacts.
Contact your service provider.
Check the service area with your service
provider.
Move to an open space, or if you are inside a
building, move closer to a window.
Go to Settings > Call Settings > Call
Barring, and then select Cancel all barring.
Go to Settings > Call Settings > Call
Barring, and then select Cancel all barring.
Go to Settings > Security Settings > Fixed
Dialing > Fixed Dialing Status, and select
Off to turn this feature off.
Contact your service provider. If the service
provider provides the (U)SIM card's PUK
code, use the PUK code to unlock the (U)SIM
card.
Delete unnecessary data from the Directory.
